Thank you for shopping at Whimsy Handmade Studio. Since we create custom-made, embroidered name tags based on your specifications, we have a strict policy regarding refunds and returns. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

Custom Products – No Standard Refunds

Because each name tag is personalized (with your chosen font, thread colour, and design), we do not offer refunds or exchanges unless:

  • There is a defect or error caused by us (e.g., incorrect spelling, wrong design).
  • The product arrives damaged or unusable.

Eligibility for Refund/Replacement

To qualify for a refund or replacement, you must:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Provide photo/video proof of the issue.
  • Return the item (if requested) in its original condition.

How to Request a Refund/Replacement

If your order qualifies, email us at:

Include:

  • Your order number
  • description of the issue
  • Photos/videos of the problem

Approved Refunds/Replacements

  • If the mistake is our fault, we’ll either:
  • If the mistake is yours (e.g., wrong name submitted), we may offer a discount on a reorder (at our discretion).
  • Approved refunds will be processed within5–10 business days and credited to your original payment method.

Shipping Costs for Returns

  • If we approve a return, you may cover return shipping unless the error was ours.
  • Refunds exclude original shipping fees unless the return is due to our error.

Non-Refundable Situations

We cannot offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind after ordering.
  • Minor color variations (thread colors may appear slightly different on-screen vs. in person).
  • Delays due to shipping carriers (we’ll help track lost packages).
